A versatile designer, his commercial experience spans many years and includes designing indoor and outdoor environments. From festivals and outdoor hardware for the National Capital Commission, exhibit furniture for the Museum of Science and Technology and award-winning Post Office’s for Canada Post. Managing many product launches and merchandising programs for client’s also means that Renzo has the Retail experience to assist in boosting your sales as part of updating your business.

Renzo is certified (BCIN # 37725) with the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs to submit code-compliant permit and construction ready plans to City planning departments. Also, a career’s worth of being on construction sites means a solid understanding of construction engineering and an Associate Certificate in Project Management means Renzo can also provide end-to-end management of your project. Handling all the tricky stuff such as coordinating construction permits, arranging inspections, managing contractors and adjusting for on-site issues can be done quickly and confidently, keeping the project on-time and on-budget.
Renzo is also a member of the Ottawa Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council in order to ensure Funktional Design is informed of new environmentally responsible building technology and construction practices.
